January Opener

At the conclusion of the holidays we completed our backyard ice rink.

And in the following weeks we experienced (what I like to call) The Big January Melt. The weather was AMAZING. But that also meant our rink didn't fare well at all! We are used to seeing this in April. But this was definitely premature.

It was fun while it lasted.

Well, since the fun has run out....we may as well move onto some office work.

Quinten was the attraction of the month for our date night.

'Tis the season for a cool and dry climate. We decided to give ourselves a break and make a family swim night of it. I especially love the perfect display of moisturizer. (And yes, I take pictures of everything).

You know those moments that matter? This is one of them.

Keith Urban may (or may not) have WOWed me at his concert. You be the judge.
We ran out of time in our countdown to Christmas. This Gingerbread house was still needing to be made SO we had a little after dinner activity with friends. Build it ...

And Break it! as quick as that! Yum, Yum.

We had the privilege of regularly caring for 3 children under the age of 4. When adding that to our two at home ... it made 5 under 5. And this is what Day 1 looked like when 2 of those children are 3 month old twins.

I love that double cuddling is not a lost skill of mine.

Princess Tea Parties are nice too.

I always wondered how he could learn to be a good big brother. I soon realized that it just comes naturally.

Some evenings are really entertaining. Just Dance!

And the Grand Finale of the Month: Trickster Theatre came to our School. It was an AMAZING performance! Very well organized and entertaining.

                                                                     Will

And the evil twins in a starring role!
Seriously SO amazing.
I ordered a DVD for anyone interested.

January was a WONDERFUL start to 2014.
