Logan's School Team: Attended their last tournament of the season after obtaining Silver in their divisional finals. Entering into this tournament was the BEST decision the coaches ever made. They were considering backing out based on the fact that the season was officially over. But we walked in, battled and took home first place! They came, they conquered, they got the T-Shirt! It was such an awesome end to the season for these boys.
I spent an entire day repairing and reflooding the rink in minus 18 degree weather. I'm almost certain I gave Chase a minor case of hypothermia in the process. And exactly one week later Mother Nature wanted to display exactly who was in charge. She wins and we willingly accept.
Sadie and I had some fun transforming her into a Princess.
Chase found his big brother's jersey and got dressed up (shorts and all). He was glowing.
And for a basketball season conclusion (there seems to be a lot of them).
Sadie is awarded her medal.
Then it's Colby's turn (followed by Quinten). 
Coach Dad was not able to be in attendance for the final evening as we were in Edmonton for Logan's Provincial Championship. Special thanks to Amanda for fulfilling the role of parent and for taking pictures for our memorabilia.
So Amanda had 3....and Ryan and I had 3. Here are 2 of the best basketball supporters you can find. This is a shot of them observing the Opening Ceremonies of the Provincials.

Here they are. The City of Calgary Bantam Champions in the 'A' Division. Ready to battle for the title of Provincial Champions (Logan's leading the pack). Coach Ryan and Coach Lyle are in back.
92 Teams will compete. 84 teams arrived for Opening Ceremonies.
Boys and Girls. In 'A' and 'B' Divisions. In the levels (defined by age): Mini, Bantam and Midget.
Not all of the Opening Ceremonies was entertaining enough for this little man.
After an hour of listening to the Dignitaries speak about the wonderful basketball facility they created...this is how we felt:
Then Will and Chase took a long walk.
And an amazing facility it was! But we just didn't need to hear so much Rah, Rah ... to believe it.
They had, at least, 12 spacious basketball courts.
Time to warm up!
Chase quickly became the figure eyes were fixed to. People could not believe he was dibbling the way he was .... and being 2 years old.
Let the games begin! There has been so much preparation and anticipation for this moment.
When the game was a breeze, Chase sat with the Coaches.
Friday evening, we battled incredibly to win our first game against Edmonton. And then we played a second game Friday evening where the final score was 69 to 27 for us.
Saturday Morning:
Logan was recognized for his amazing speed. And his ability to shut down the opposing team's top scorer.
Chase won the hearts of 3 players' lovely sisters. He was very well taken care of.
And it all comes down to this: The final game. Our battle for the Championship. One last team meeting before we begin.
The result: We brought Silver home.
We are really grateful to have been part of such a wonderful team of great boys with amazing talent. The battle for the Provincial Championship is one that we will forever feel privileged to have been a part of.
And that's a wrap for Basketball 2014.
Ryan coached (or assistant coached) 5 teams this season. He has been there for every one of our kids. Some parents say they're just too busy ... I say it's their loss.
