I should really think about changing my hair

Moments

We record a moment in time every year. A moment capturing a particular phase of our family. I cherish each year past for reminding us where we once were. This picture seems like a lengthy depiction of our current stat. I love it none the less.
After taking the time to reflect on where this story began (and how far we've traveled) I decided to stack the pictures one by one by way of celebrating our past 10 years.

December 2005 - Whoa! What just happened? No parents?
We didn't think we could accomplish a good family portrait (to go out in Christmas cards) by using a camera and it's timer. So this is the Christmas card picture - sans parents.
And this is what our family looked like together in 2005. A simple picture taken at a Christmas Party.

The facial hair represents the lengthy TELUS strike which had Ryan working 12 hour days 6 days a week when the babies were born. I learned how to almost qualify for single Mom status to 4 boys under the age of 4.
The only picture of me that existed of me at this stage of our life. If I have one regret ... it's that I didn't take the time to have a professional photographer capture this most momenteous occasion.

The men of the house.

A connection between Quinten and Sadie (in this moment).
Some people comment: "I don't know how you do it."
I've had alot of time to ponder this thought and this is what I've been able to come up with:
Some days I don't. Most days I have help. Every day I learn a way to do things better. No day is without mistakes. When I am willing to focus, to work, to have fun and to change... I see success. My moto: I have one chance to get it right. I will not sit idle. And even after knowing all this, I still make tons of mistakes.
I get the comment of SUPER Mom. But NO such title (deserving OR not) is achieved without SUPER Dad. Thank you to Ryan for all of his unconditional love, support of my crazy ways and our crazy days, his patience, his fun spirit and amazing effort. Thank you for a successful 10 years. I love you.
