Koocanusa 2012

A quick story about the delay in keeping up with things. I like to post in chronological order. However, my August pictures were eaten by my computer. I am attempting to retreive them. But until I do, I have to step into the next pictures taken from my camera.

The Saturday of the September long weekend was a trip down to Koocanusa to take Grandma and Grandpa boating. The ironic part is that they were rarely in the boat.Off they go!

 Grandpa has now joined in the fun.

 Sadie takes a break to go for a deep water swim while the men attempt to repair the Serpentine belt.

 

 Ryan was told that he would receive major praise if he could get Mikey out on the water. We even wondered if he would get in the boat (which he did). But does not have a history of liking boats. He also doens't like the wind in his hair. This was a potential recipe for failure. But to our surprise, he jumped on the tube on his own!

 

Not only did he like riding on the open water. But he also liked splashing the other passengers.

 

Quinten is proud of his creation.

Sometimes we would catch this guy going out for his own morning walk.

All great fun has to see the little ones crash at one point or another.

We had a great time, on a very windy day.
