Newton's Third Law of Motion: To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction.
If we worked hard in July, then we shall set the goal to play hard in August.
In no particular order - here is a very detailed glimpse of our visit to Mabel Lake this summer. We caught sight of a Bald Eagle.
What get's dirty must get clean.
She makes friends in a matter of minutes.

A little man-made horse power displayed below.
Now the real horse power.
And what Ryan attempts to do with it. He had some soaring accomplishments.
Of course, no wakeboarding story is complete without some great wipe-outs. (See below)

Entertainment at it's finest for these little people. And the lake; Breath-taking.
Logan gearing up to make a go of it.
These are a great amount of pictures of cliff jumping/diving. Click on the picture to get a close-up.
Then we made our own style of jumping. Who needs a cliff when you've got a wakeboard tower.
This little man is likely on his (KoolAid juice pouch) phone with Child Protective Services. These kids are outta control.
Nothing Special. Just a couple of drowned rats. And a Sunny disposition.
He *may* be having a good time.
Sent out to sea.
Little Cheerleader.
The Life of the Party: Quinten
Sunset Boating. This is a perfect representation of that.
The beach. All to ourselves.
Fishing Fun.
Now Playing: Despicable Me 2
Our Trip Out. Chase is *obsessed* with keys.
What's a road trip without a technical difficulty. It's boring. That's what it is. Our hitch pin was removed (without our knowledge) and almost at the summit of Rogers Pass, the trailer broke free.
Logan will not be getting the keys to drive my car. He was VERY nervous for his Grampa to see. In this picture he was running at me to attempt to keep me from taking the picture.
Chase told me this is a "Quad"
A little more leaping.
Another fun adventure day to Kelowna. The beach, the water spray park and Costco.
Take a really good look at this picture. I feel so proud to have given this lady (onlooker) something to smile about. They certainly are worth every ounce of it.
Now that's what we call horse power.
This is the funniest thing. We came to this exact beach last year and Chase did this exact same thing. He laid his head to rest. What's strange is this day he had already had a really great nap. I guess the beach just brings it out in him.
I don't see the motivation.
And frogs in our towels.
Best buds.
Second best buds. Chase would not leave his shoes on even when walking on our hike. I finally gave up and just let him go for it. Why not go more rustic.
We like the kind of hikes where we stop at the store for a treat. I discovered that Sadie is VERY decisive with what she wants. Her decision was made in the first 10 seconds of entering the store. I presented other shelves that she may have missed. She was unwavering.

Imagine that, he has keys.
Ryan tried out Surfing.
Logan. A.k.a. Monkey.
Will decided to try wakeboarding this year.
He got it on his first try!
And then he was a pro.
And for the grand finale: Chase.
The most excellent and entertaining little boy we could ever ask for.
We found Choke Cherries in BC!
On our last day at Mabel we filled a cooler with Choke Cherries. I had never canned them before so I called around for advice and then got to work.
When we returned home I madly worked on my list of things to do (and the additional item of canning a cooler full of Choke Cherries). I washed all our camping clothing and promptly packed it right back up again. So we could take off on another adventure. More on that later.
