It was a beautiful day for a school track meet. Logan had willingly registered in almost every event. His positive spirit makes me so proud.
One of these things just 'wants to' belong.

The results:
100 meter race: 1st
High Jump: 1st
800 meter race: 2nd
200 meter race: 2nd
1500 meter race: 1st
4X100 meter relay: 1st
AND, my accomplishment of the day: carrying slurpees back to the car for all my children....in one trip. There is an unspoken rule that you should only have as many children as you can carry slurpees for....in one trip.
The May Long weekend was forecasting rain every day. We braved the prediction and headed out anyways. It turned out to be such a consistently beautiful weekend. We were in Montana ... naturally.
AND as a grand finale to the month of May, our season of birthdays begin.
First up! A bright, spunky, smiley and huggable 3 year old!
