The boys were speaking their broken Spanish to Lewis about Easter. Lewis told them that there is no Easter Bunny in Costa Rica. We had a mild train wreck on our hands as we discussed options of what might occur;
1) Quinten thought the Easter bunny might get Santa's help and travel on his sleigh to make it.
2) Logan thought there were surely bunnies in Costa Rica ... we just haven't been fortunate enought to see one yet.

3) Mom thought that the Easter bunny might just leave treats at home for when we arrived.
We just had to wait and see.
Quinten said he came out of his room, in the middle of the night and layed on the sofa for a while waiting to catch a glimpse of the bunny. He told me that he then got scared and went back to bed.
Lewis was asked to visit at 8 am. It took him a few short seconds to catch-on to the Easter hunt. After all the fun was over he told Logan and Will that this isn't something done in Costa Rica. Well it is now! He also said this was the best Easter ever.
Sunday was Lewis' last day here before he returned home to San Jose for school. It was the first time we've ever met him, he spent 6 days playing with our kids and when he was saying good-bye he was crying. We love Lewis. He's 12 years old with a heart of pure gold.

Bug proof and heat retardant candy eggs were placed all over the grounds. Soft and squishy chocolates were placed all over the house and patio.

And after the prize is found she's quickly motioning for assistance with opening.
