Christmas 2012

Houston! We have a conflict.
The Tooth Fairy is going to collide with Santa Claus this Year. As we sat back and enjoyed a lovely Christmas Eve, Ryan decided to give Colby's tooth a trial yank before he started bedtime routine. And to all of our surprise he succeeded!

The tree is so big, the gifts don't fit under. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Chase's first moments on his Christmas morning.

He is holding his gift from Santa. His mind is saying, "You want me to do what?!" We could not get him to rip and tear.

The reason behind the tall package. It looks like someone is going to be doing a little surfing behind the boat.

Sadie asked for a Holiday Barbie and a Bathtime Baby from Santa. She forgot that she really wanted a watch. Haha.

Santa was successful.

The first moments of Christmas with the twins.

And Will - who does not look like he slept at all.

Chase is quite pleased to be in the action with his big brothers.

If at first they don't respond, try, try again.

Sadie sporting some new PJs and bracelets.

These are the moments that matter. I love Christmas. Not for the gifts. Just for the giving.

And then, the highlight of Christmas was a gift for Chase. He ripped a small piece of paper (after much coercion). And instead of continuing with the process. He took a break to walk that small piece to the garbage.
And he did it again and again, so much that the household was errupt in laughter.

There and back. It was a continuous long process.

Once he got a view of a portion of it. He attempted to catch a ride. Handle bar style.

Checkin' out his new wheels.

Um, hello. I do not remember saying Princesses were licensed to drive Quads.

There, that's better.

Pretty in Pink. This girl got new slippers, new PJs and a new helmet. They coordinate amazingly.
Every girl needs a new Christmas outfit they are excited to wear to Christmas Dinner.

And every Quad rider needs a ... errrr .... um ..... pink helmet? Safety first! Color coordination discarded.

Sometimes the toys received at Christmas just aren't enough. So this big boy heads out dumpster diving and finds a Jeep which he is determined to take apart and connect to a foreign remote control. Chase is sure he knows the step by step process. And together, they will leave a trail of parts along the way.
Oh Joy. Sarcasm or not? Depends on who's talking.
